Through our general members application, recruits can apply for a position on one of our three sub teams: Electrical, Mechanical, or Business. As a team member you will  receive some of the best field training available on campus while working alongside some of the brightest engineering minds at UC San Diego. Those applying for Electrical and Mechanical positions can expect to be placed into project teams of 2 - 4 people working to design, construct, and test specific vehicle modules. Similarly, Business members will be assigned to specific fields such as finances, networking, event planning, and social media.

Project managers at TSC play a crucial role in managing and directing groups of 2 - 4 members to develop mechanical and electrical components/assemblies. Although no formal qualifications are necessary, we are looking for individuals who demonstrate excellent leadership capabilities and independent thinking. Below are listed available PM positions.

2. Solar Array Project Manager

As a subteam lead at Triton Solar Car, the Business Lead can expect to manage a team of around 4 - 8 individuals to fulfill the non-technical aspects of the organization. This includes, maintaining a social media presence, handling team finances, managing sponsorship/outreach programs, event planning, and more. We are looking for individuals with backgrounds in graphic design, leadership, and financial management.
